I’m interested in learning Chinese characters. “离开” also means “to leave,” are they the same?
“走” means to walk right? Can anyone tell me how to write “run” and “jump” in Chinese? I love to learn Chinese characters!
They share the same meaning but express different emotions. When one uses “走开,” it shows that he/she is a little angry. But “离开” doesn’t show that kind of emotion.
@cindy: 跑 pao3 ‘run’. 跳 tiao4 ‘jump’.
@Hedry: 走开 in another word is ‘get lost’. I hope that helps!
