Wǒ bǎ nǐ zhòngxià, 我   把  你   种下， I’ll plant you here,

Búpà fēngyǔ kuàidiǎn zhǎngdà. 不怕   风雨      快点        长大。 Hope you won’t be afraid of storms and grow up quickly.

Zhǎngzhe lǜde yè, 长着         绿的 叶， Hope you grow green leaves,

Kāizhe hóngde huā, 开着    红的      花， And bloom red blossoms,

Niǎo lái zuòwō, 鸟      来  做窝， Then birds will come to build nests,

Hóuzi lái pá, 猴子   来 爬， Monkeys will come to climb,

Wǒ yě lái wánshuǎ.…

Xuěhuā piāo, zhùfú dào,雪花        飘， 祝福   到， The snowflake floats and our blessing comes,

Guà dēnglong, fàng biānpào, 挂        灯笼，   放      鞭炮， We hang lanterns and set off firecrackers,

Chuān xīnyī, dài xīnmào, 穿        新衣，戴   新帽， And we put on new clothes and new hats,

Duō jí lái bǎ xīnchūn nào.…
