This has resulted in the growth of people interested in learning the
Chinese language worldwide.
Fred Rao (native of Beijing, living in the United
States for many years ) sensed this global market need for learning the chinese
language and started the online chinese language learning service, eChineseLearning .
Fred has extensive history in the Internet industry. Recently, Fred served as Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of UUMe.com, which was one of the largest social networking companies in China and was later acquired by Oak Pacific Inc. (Mop.com). Fred also served as Associate at Fidelity Capital, working closely with partners on all aspects of due diligence.
Fred earned his M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University. Fred is also the secretary general of Stanford Beijing Alumni Club.
